MacKenzie Greszewski – Jamestown Sun

On Sunday, July 31, 2022, after an 11-year battle with cancer, MacKenzie Lind Gerszewski went to her heavenly home surrounded by her immediate and medical family.

MacKenzie was born on January 4, 1996 in Marshall MN to parents Steve and Kristi (Lind) Gerszewski. She attended St. John’s Academy, graduated with honors from Jamestown High School, and received a degree in biochemistry from the University of Jamestown. MacKenzie continued her dream of becoming a doctor after she was admitted to the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine and in her third year of medical school.

She embraced life with a competitive nature and a thirst for knowledge. As a child she competed in Boy Scouts, 4H, hippology, softball and volleyball. MacKenzie was always very strong in her faith, enjoyed Christian mimes, was a Eucharistic minister, and attended Bible studies. She enjoyed water sports, skiing, fishing, horseback riding and camping.
