Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey responds to China's draconian COVID policies: 'End the CCP'

Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey responded with a simple message to a news segment about the Chinese government’s current approach to COVID-19 policy.

After seeing a report highlighting the Chinese government’s strict COVID-19 policies more than two and a half years since the start of the pandemic, Dorsey offered a solution: “End the CCP”.

The report stated that COVID-19 testing in China is rigorous and constant, adding that a public health-focused phone application dictates where someone can go.

According to the report, a green code is required when entering public areas, and a red code means the person must be quarantined.

During the lockdown in Shanghai, residents of the city struggled to obtain necessities such as food. China has a “zero COVID” approach to the pandemic, meaning a slight rise in the number of cases in a city could lead to widespread lockdowns.
