ORANGE COUNTY, FLa. — Two people have died and one person has been hospitalized after a shooting in Orange County.

4:28 pm update:

Orange County officials said two men were killed after three people were shot at the scene of a shooting involved in a shooting Saturday afternoon.

Emergency services said the first victim they found at the Heritage Hotel and a man with a gun who was shot by a deputy sheriff have both died in hospital.

A third person who was also shot at the hotel before the officers arrived is being treated in hospital.

The shooting is still under investigation.

15:15 update:

Representatives from Orange County said three people were hospitalized Saturday afternoon after a shooting that was involved in a shooting.

Delegates said they responded to the Heritage Hotel on Orange Blossom Trail around 12:30 p.m.

Investigators said they found a man with a gunshot wound upon arrival.

At the scene, a man with a gun approached the officers and a confrontation ensued, the officers said.

Officials said a deputy was forced to shoot the man with the gun.

Shortly after the shooting, another man was found who had been shot before the officers arrived, officials said.

All three people who were shot were taken to hospital for treatment.
